Leonard is the Senior Associate Consultant of Right Impact. He is a dynamic and experienced facilitator and he has taken on a wide array of business and managerial roles and responsibilities; including managing and growing profit-centred business units within and outside Singapore. This included development and implementation of operational and Human Resource policies and procedures for organizational stability and efficiency, market and clientele development and he also held direct responsibility over bottom-line targets.

Leonard has also been involved in training and management consulting and business development for many clients, both regionally and internationally for more than 15 years. His key competencies are in coaching, OD consulting, change management, adult learning, team development and process facilitation using clay as the medium of constructionism.

Leonard has facilitated corporate learning programmes with major clients from across industries in both government and private sectors such as Pfizer, Gemalto, Linde Gas, Shell, National University of Singapore, DBS, Singtel, Bayer Healthcare, Shell, Coca Cola, National Library Board, Singapore Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, SIM, Burger King and many others. He has also done Train-the-Trainer programmes for internal and external clients.

With his sincere and experienced, insightful facilitation and coaching skills, Leonard has consistently garnered positive comments from his clients. Leonard was the lead-facilitator in the design and facilitation of a series of successful teambuilding programmes for all management level participants of Pfizer, Burger King and Monetary Authority of Singapore. In 2015, he developed curriculum on positive communications for the senior management of CSC which was designed to engender a culture of appreciative inquiry. He also developed curriculum on Managing Inter-Generational Diversity at the Workplace for the managers of Singtel.

Leonard is a qualified and accredited coach (IAC), and is also an experienced and certified practitioner of the DiSC profiling system. He is also certified in the use of Emergenetics – a modern profiling instrument that helps determine our thinking and behavioural preferences. He developed air-dry clay as a facilitation tool in 2008 and since then he has created fun and impactful learning for over 1000 participants across many industries.

His personal belief is “Nothing is Impossible” and it is with this belief that he regularly volunteers his time to teach clay-moulding skills to people with disabilities in special schools.

Leonard studied English Language, English Literature and Sociology at the National University of Singapore. He holds a Masters in Applied Linguistics from the National University of Singapore and the Regional English Language Centre, specializing in oral proficiency, including effective presentation techniques. He has conducted international workshops on speaking good English and effective presentation skills. He also has a Post-Graduate Diploma in HRD (SHRI) and the Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment (ACTA) (Full), as awarded by the Workforce Development Agency (WDA) of Singapore.
