  SAFRA Adventure Sports Centre
 

SAFRA is not just another recreation club, formed in 1972 with the objective of helping the Singapore Armed Forces build morale and camaraderie amongst NSmen to foster a cohesive fighting force. Since then, SAFRA has grown into a prominent organisation with a network of clubs to provide quality social, recreational, sports and educational facilities for NSmen and their families.

 

At SAFRA Yishun, you can challenge yourself at Singapore's premier adventure centre – the SAFRA Adventure Sports Centre (SASC). Offering facilities like Singapore's first ice-climbing wall, one of Asia's tallest (25 metres) and Singapore's biggest sports climbing facility, crack climbing wall, chimney climbing wall and slab climbing walls, the centre is an ideal location for teambuilding and other adventure-based programmes. The SASC also offers a canopy challenge walk over the treetops of Yishun Park and a parachute jump facility, a first outside an SAF camp.

 

The team at SASC are qualified to conduct courses for sport climbing, ice climbing, trekking and adventure trips, scuba diving courses, talks, seminars and more. These courses are endorsed by the Singapore Mountaineering Federation.
